This seed bootcamp consisted of a 5-day immersive program (in-person) followed by 7 weeks of post-program support (online), designed to help pre-seed / seed-stage startups in Japan get ready for global exposure.

Helping startups in Japan get ready for global exposure

Working directly with global mentors, each participating founder will have the opportunity to learn about sales and pitching and develop a tailored action plan through hands-on workshops and mentoring sessions. Program participants consisted of founders who were looking for actionable guidance to sharpen their core business foundations, validate their existing customer acquisition strategy in a competitive landscape, and gain fresh perspectives to discover new growth opportunities.

Program overview

This program targets startups in the following industries: Maritime, Industry 4.0, Energy, Seaport Operations, Logistics, Shipping, Drones, Procurement Technology, HR, and Cyber Security

Pre-requisites

Startup Criteria

We looked for startups that met the following criteria:

Seed or Post-Seed stage and Israel-based
Working with a ready MVP in the maritime technology space
Able to commit to PoC and the entire duration of the program

The program Fee for Phase 1 is $35,000 per startup, excluding travel expenses. This fee covers the comprehensive support, mentorship, and resources provided throughout Phase 1.

By completing Phase 1, startups is expected to gain valuable insights, refine their strategies, and make informed decisions for successful market expansion.

Step 1

Submit

Once applications open, we'll share the dates to submit your application as well as the deadline.

The program Fee for Phase 1 is $35,000 per startup, excluding travel expenses. This fee covers the comprehensive support, mentorship, and resources provided throughout Phase 1.

By completing Phase 1, startups is expected to gain valuable insights, refine their strategies, and make informed decisions for successful market expansion.

Step 2

Review

The 500 Global team reviews all applications carefully. We will reach out to schedule an interview if there is a potential fit. Shortlisted companies will also subsequently need to complete the tender process required by Ashdod Port prior to selection.
