DISTRO DOJO GROWTH ACCELERATOR
The Distro Dojo is our 10-week growth accelerator, with current and past programs in London, Berlin, Stockholm, Los Angeles, Miami, Toronto and Kuala Lumpur.
Participants join in-person for four weeks of hands-on growth mentorship and guided experiments training. The subsequent weeks are conducted remotely to allow flexibility for growth implementation and fundraising.
Is the Dojo right for me?
The Distro Dojo is a hybrid investment and growth training program intended for post-seed companies preparing to raise their Series A round.
Specialists from 500 Distro and the 500 Mentor Network help your team to identify and achieve the right growth trajectory and metrics to support both fundraising conversations and the next stage of your business.
You should have strong, demonstrated product-market fit, a dedicated growth manager or team and an existing flow of experiments to get the most out of the Dojo experience.
How is the Dojo different from your Accelerator program?
Companies participating in the Distro Dojo are typically later stage than the companies in our San Francisco and Mountain View startup Accelerator programs. Many have already completed past accelerator programs, either at 500 or elsewhere.
The Distro Dojo focuses primarily on growth marketing, with minimal time and training dedicated to pitch preparation, legal, finance, and other aspects of running your business.
How much do you invest for the Distro Dojo program?
The Distro Dojo investment amount and terms vary by company, and can range anywhere from $100K to $250K. You’ll finalize investment details in your individual conversation your 500 Distro Partner.
Do I have to live in the location of the Distro Dojo?
The Dojo is typically four weeks in residence. We expect you and your growth team to be able to join on site for the duration of these four weeks. We conduct the subsequent weeks of the Dojo remotely to allow for greater flexibility and travel.
You do not need to be a full time permanent resident of the city or country in which your Dojo is taking place, but you do need to be able to travel there with relevant members of your team for four weeks.
