500 Startups Welcomes 7 Companies into Batch 13 of Somos Lucha LatAm

by

March 17, 2021

500 Startups is excited to announce the latest batch of our LatAm program, focused on providing mentorship for Spanish-speaking early-stage companies based in the region.

Batch 13 companies, which hail from Mexico (4), Chile (1), Peru (1) and the Dominican Republican (1) joined the Somos Lucha (We are all in this fight together) program on March 1st. Our team selected them out of a record 2,107 applications.

The startups will go through a new version of our program remotely. For 16 weeks our investment team (myself, Santiago Zavala, Didier Quiroz, Regina Zurutuza and Cecilia Ezquerro) will dedicate themselves to founders by giving them tangible advice and being the best partners possible at this critical phase in a startup’s life.

We’re thrilled to continue our mission of supporting Latin American founders on their journey to create successful companies at scale and build a thriving regional startup ecosystem. So, without further ado, here are the companies from Batch 13 in Latin America:

AlterEstate: All-in-one cloud solution that helps real estate agencies close more sales and manage all the properties.

Contalink: A cloud-based accounting software that automates the work of Mexican accountants for greater efficiency.

Instacash: Lending technology that uses credit cards lines pre-authorizations as collateral.

Mubit: On-demand storage with home pickup and delivery service, powered by an online platform.

Portal Educativo: Learning website platform for every school grade level.

Shuttle Central: Online one-stop shop for travel transportation needs.

Yana: Spanish-speaking app that accompanies people on the path to emotional well-being through strategies based on CBT.

Bienvenidos to the #500Strong family LatAm Batch 13!
