A Win for Wellness
- Employee wellbeing is getting a boost with 500-backed digital health company Naluri raising US$5M in funding led by TELUS Global Ventures, bringing their Series B total to US$14M.
- At the same time, TELUS Health is teaming up with Naluri to strengthen their Employee Assistance Programs across 8 markets in Asia.
- The new funding will help Naluri cover working capital as they aim to become profitable within a year. It will also fuel their expansion into new Asian markets, starting with the Philippines and Vietnam. Co-founder & Group CEO Azran Osman-Rani shared the team remains focused on its mission of reaching 1 million lives.
- Naluri has established a leadership position in the employee wellbeing markets in Indonesia and Malaysia, serving enterprise clients in banking, insurance, energy, mining, telecommunications, technology, and more.
- They have also expanded their presence to Singapore and Thailand and secured a number of Pan-Asian and global clients with their comprehensive health programs.
- These programs bring together mental health support, preventive care, and chronic disease management. They include health screenings, employee engagement initiatives, personalized health coaching, and 24/7 crisis support lines — helping companies care for their employees in a more holistic way.
