500 Startups is excited to announce the latest batch from our Seed Accelerator based in Mexico City. The Mexico City program focuses on providing a mentorship program for Spanish-speaking early-stage companies based in Latin America.

Our latest batch consists of founders from all over Latin America including 6 companies from Mexico, 2 from Chile, 2 from Colombia, and 1 from Argentina. The 11 startups began the accelerator activities on April 22nd at 500’s office in Mexico City.

The 16-week intensive Seed Program will focus on legal, product, sales, growth, culture, fundraising, and more, in order to prepare the companies for the culminating Demo Day taking place in Mexico City on August 7th. Batch 10’s startups will continue to put in the hard day-to-day work, with continued assistance from the 500 Startups team, investors, and more than 15 international mentors that will be visiting throughout the 4-month program.

We’re thrilled to continue our mission of supporting Latin American founders on their journeys to create successful companies at scale, working together to build a thriving global startup ecosystem. So, without further ado, here are the companies from Batch 10 in Latin America:

AddShop, (Chile) a social marketplace with a logistical integration.

AppHive, (Mexico) a drag-and-drop tool for creating apps.

Baubap, (Mexico) a consumer microlending app without documents, questions or exhausting processes.

Come Bien, (Mexico) a platform for corporate catering.

DB Menos, (Mexico) a solution for people with over-indebtedness.

Etiner, (Chile) a platform to plan trips quickly, easily and safely.

Little Bookmates, (Mexico) a subscription service for children’s books.

Net Worth Consulting, (Mexico) a platform of tools to empower financial advisers.

Slik, (Argentina) a platform for measuring workplace climate and commitment.
